The Skills for Youth Employment (SkYE) in the Caribbean is a four-year investment under the UK governments’ programme of assistance to promote economic growth and sustainable development in the Eastern Caribbean.

Real Life Stories (RLS) provide SkYE with an opportunity to showcase the positive impact the programme is having on individual beneficiaries’ lives as well as opening out to note the wider impact on organizations, community, and society.

The stories give a snapshot into the real lives of trainees and training providers within the programme. It begins with background information on the beneficiary and illustrates how their lives were before, and how it has improved – including how they were able to support their family/community as a result of the tools/skills they have gained.

SkYE Caribbean remains committed to positively affecting change in the Eastern Caribbean region through advancement in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
